A BIT ABOUT ME

Elora is a YA contemporary author typically found writing under a pile of pillows or outside, soaking up as much of the Green Mountains as she can.

For the past however many years, she's worked in higher ed helping with policy research (mainly on US federal antipoverty policies targeted at early childhood), running the energy and environment program for Master's students, and managing budgets.

Her previous work experience includes housing feral cats, changing oil in an auto shop, wearing a burger suit on the side of a road, and weighing college athletes pre and post games to measure sweat loss.

She studied sociology and East Asian studies at the University of Wisconsin, and earned her MA from Northwestern University in Public Policy.

Originally from the Midwest, Elora has a deep love for the Great Lakes, Chicago hot dogs, and the ever versatile word "ope."

She was an Author Mentor Match Round 5 and Pitch Wars 2019 mentee,

and is represented by Jon Michael Darga at Aevitas Creative Management!
